kinger Posted December 3, 2009 Posted December 3, 2009 Need some help, my bose stereo in my truck is cutting out on the drivers side intermittently. It seems to happen about once or twice on my 50 miles commute daily. Can anyone tell me how the stereo works? My truck has nav and I'm wondering if the bose amp on the sub powers everything including the speakers or if its in my head unit? Friggen bose I never liked stereo wanted to add a sub but gave up just cause its so complicated, now if I have to replace the nav unit or bose amp out of warranty that will be nice and inexpensive I bet :hammer: Thanks for the help

Is that what you did? Are the wires where the bose was connected ok to tap in for the new amp right there?
