Simple Anti-roll Bar Question....

Recommended Posts

Hey guys. I was wondering if a simple bigger anti-roll bar up front would take some of the body roll out of my truck? Im not looking to take corners like a corvette. I was just wondering if it would corner flatter around the city.

They seem to be pretty cheap to buy, and I was wondering if it would be a good investment. If so, are they hard to change? Does anyone have an easy trick to help with body roll?

Best investment. I went with front and rear Addco bars on my Yukon and it helped tremendously. I would do the rear first if your only doing one since the rear bar is a lot smaller than the front. You can always add a front later. Personally I would do both.

Pick up a set of front/rear Hellwig bars. Makes a HUGE difference in the handling. Did that to my 2000 Z71, and results were day/night. It was running the LT tires (high PSI). I was VERY impressed how well it cornered with the stock tires and bars. So I did it again on my GMT900.

Make sure your shocks are in good shape. That can make a big difference in cornering, and doesn't cost a lot to replace. I recommend Bilstein HD.
