Pics Of Aftermarket Dvd/ Screen Installed On 07 Sierra

I am not even sure if what I am looking for is even possible, but since I have gathered so much useful knowledge on this board I thought I would ask. I have combed the threads and have gotten a lot of good info, but quite frankly car audio is not my thing so I am not sure I am understanding all the technical talk.

I am looking for an aftermarket DVD player that fits neatly in an 07 Sierra. I would like to retain as much of the stock look as possible in the dash . Ultimately, I would like Ipod functionality and bluetooth using my onstar speaker and mic. Is this even possible to achieve without spending more than about 500.00 on the unit. If so, does anyone have recommendations and pics of the install.

Just another note, I really don't even care about the dvd part, but I like the nav type screens. Thanks in advance for any help.

I have a Kenwood DNX5120 with Bluetooth, IPod, OnStar functionality, the whole enchillada, but it was way over your $500 budget, sorry. There are pics in my garage on this site. It's hooked up to a Kenwood amp Infinity speakers, and a Rockford sub, outstanding, and worth every penny!

What dash kit did you use for this install? I have a similar unit the Kenwood DNX5140 and used the Scosche 1598AB kit and it looks like crap. There is a huge (1/8") gap at the top where the kit and the factory trim meet. It drives me nuts!

Really don't know what kit it was , my boy owns a stereo shop and sent my the wiring kit and dash plate, but I don't have any gap at all.

I checked out your pics in the garage and I love it. That is exactly the clean look I am going for. You may have just cost me more money than I was originally going to spend. Thanks for sharing.

That install looks really nice! What dash kit did you use for that install?

I bought a Metra one this time (I think I tried them all) and it still looks nothing like that.... I am wondering if I just got a bad one.
