No Lights On Power Window Controls

I have a 02 silverado lt z71, and the lights that illuminate the window, lock, and power mirrors controls are not working for driver and passenger. I just replaced 6 bulbs in the hvac controls and now these are out. I took the door piece off, and took the control box off, but i cant seem to get the circuit board out of the box to get to the one blue bulb for the window and lock buttons, and i cant get to the bulb for the mirror controls either. Has anyone replaced these bulbs or know how to get to these bulbs to change them?

I have the same problem with all the door switch lights. On another thread I was reading someone said you had to buy new switches. But they weren't too sure about it, and nobody gave a definite answer as how to fix the problem.

nice find, just what i was looking for. I guess you cannot change the bulbs only in the door switchs but only add lights in there. I would rather the stock look and brightness, those leds looked kinda bright

you could unsolder and remove the stock bulbs, and take them in to radioshack or wherever, and match them up with a regular bulb, and solder it back in

yeah its worth a try, it would be nice to be able to get to the back of the circuit board like on the hvac though
