Alpine W205 2009 Silverado

I just bought a new 2009 Silverado with out the Bose system. I took the Alpine W205 out of the old car. I was looking at Crutchfield and it says it does not fit in this truck. Most times when you select an aftermarket double Din it says that modifications are needed to the vehicle. Well not on the 09. Has anyone installed a W205 in an 09 truck?

it will fit perfectly i just installed a 505 into my 2009, the newer version of what you have. its a tight squeeze gettin all the modules and wires tucked behind it but it deffinitly fits all you need is the dash kit, wiring and antenna adapter. fyi the wiring will probably be pricey to retain the onstar and whatnot i paid roughly 100 for mine at a SEVERE discount
