How To Find An Ac-delco Part Number?

I recently had the local (i.e. former GMC dealer) replace the front left wheel bearing assembly on my 2000 GMC Sierra 1500 Extra Cab. A few days later I rotated the tires and noticed that the mechanic did not put the rubber wheel bearing dust cover back on. I've been round and round with their parts department trying to get a replacement. They said they would get one for me for free and I even offered to buy the part. They are either unable or unwilling to order the part for me.

Since there aren't any other GM dealers within 100 miles I would like to try and order the rubber dust cover myself over the internet. So far I've not been able to determine the part number or a vendor from whom I could purchase the part.

Any advice or information would be appreciated.

Also, if you shoot gmpartsdirect.com an email, they have the contact link on the site, give them your VIN and what you need, they should be able to give you a part number.

I'll give the link you provided a try. GM customer service advised me that I would have to go to a GMC dealer in order to obtain the part no.

Hopefully, gmpartsdirect will provide me with the number and save me the trouble.

Thanks for your help.
