Ok, So i have 1 grand. I want to buy a nice audio system excluding the car stereo its self its already aftermarket. I want SMOOOTH bass but alot of it. Help meh out?

 

OH and btw (i got a new bed for the truck and its already installed) off topic... but yeah.

Go Polk Audio, I'm real partial to their products. Of course, there are a thousand other brands. All of which can be had for about $1000 bucks. You can get Polk DB components and coaxials on a Polk PA500.4 amp for the mids and highs. And then go with 1 or 2 Polk MM 12" subwoofers in some kind of box you want with a POLK PA600.1 mono block amp and you'll have a great, musical but loud system that suits any music preference. All this with the wiring needed for the amps should be right at $1000. These are Ebay prices of course but that's the only way to go IMHO

all that right there is about $950, all you do is add the wiring and you're set for about $1000

I already have wiring ran. I even have an amp but i want to upgrade the amp.

 

EDIT: I also want it to be BANGIN loud but smooth. And i checked out all of those links, Thanks bro im going to look into it tonight and make a decision also if anyone else has some suggestions please throw them at me.

Check out www.woofersetc.com and www.onlinecarstereo.com as well as www.crutchfield.com. The only problem I have with ebay is ensuring you are buying items from authorized resellers, or more specifically that you are, if buying new, getting authentic equipment with a warranty.

 

Crutchfield is the spendier option but you know what you are getting is legit and their customer service is top notch.

 

For a grand you should be able to buy quality items to install a quality system.
