Has anyone painted their grill to match the body color? If so, can you please post photos?

That looks really good. I don't think I have seen that on a GMT900 GMC before. I have seen a lot of silverados painted to match, but never a Sierra.

What paint did you use to allow it to adhere to the stock plastic grill?

Thanks guys I like how it came out. What I did was scuffed it up with some stoch brite pads sprayed it with primer,then got two cans of sliver birch paint from the dealer and sprayed it . The color is a little off so I am going to redo it, I got a buddy who works at a paint supply place so I am going to have him mix me up some

Thats a hard color to match.. esp out of the can. Looks good though.

 

I have color matched my truck and found out GM Has about 9 different variations (tint) with this color. Best thing to do is get a flop sample and put it up against your truck to get the mixure right when matching.
