08 2500 Duramax Vs 07? Silverado Vmax

Sitting at a stop light getting ready to go on the on-ramp to the highway by my house. It's a 2 lane on-ramp and turn. Next to me up pulls a VERY nice looking Silverado Extended Cab VMAX. He nodded at me and gave me the thumbs up, I gave it to him as well. He revved a few times and I nodded back. The light went green and we both made the turn and were at WOT. I pulled ahead in my Duramax by about a truck length by the time I was up to 60, and was still pulling away (slowly) by the time I hit 80 and it merged into 1 lane and had to slow down to merge into traffic. I let him pass me, and as he did so he gave another thumbs up. It was great!
