Thinking About New Tail Lights?

Hey, im just wanting to get people's opinions on these tail lights. I normally prefer stockers but i think these may look good on my truck!

What do you all think of these tail lights?

 

normally i like the way things look stock but i think these would look pretty good on my truck because my truck is black. I know beauty is in the eye of the beholder (ME) but im just wanting some opinions here

I'd vote for tinting the stock ones with VHT Nightshades or finding some LED tails.

If you could get them cheap and pull the lenses off and shoot them with the same color your truck is, than pop the lenses back on...they would look Awesome.

 

Just read the color of your truck...scratch that than....the other truck is blue.

I would do something to the outer trim though...to get rid of the grey/white trim ring.

Those aftermarket ones look like somthing take off the front of an Acura Interga Do as above and stick with the stockers.................

Just paint your stock tailights flat black. You'll out-do the dark tint guys.

Stock, Maybe tinited or painted but no euro lights!

I go with led lights. But thoes are sharp too. Its your truck. But with led you dont have to change bulbs all the time.

Maybe Im misunderstanding but how does one paint the stock tails?(i know tint but paint???)

also looking into possible window tints but i need to check the local laws first... i dont really want to get too far away from the stock look because i think it looks great stock

That's one of my favorite things too. Some people hate it, I don't know why.

There are very few vehicles that those clear, modular tail lights actually look good on. I would pass.

I checked around for some leds but i didnt see any options for a stepside of my year....all i found were euro lights, only about 3 different looking ones. and for the most part i dont find euro lights appealing.

 

VHT Nightshade could also be an option but my brother said that it is easy to mess up, or rather, hard to get it looking nice.

Anyone done this before?

look into a carbon fiber tail. they are still a euro but less tacky.
