Is it possible to change out the speedometer on the NNBS trucks to the speedometer cluster with all the gauges.

I have seen this question asked in this forum before.

Well, as of today I can the answer is YES-and it was PLUG & PLAY.

The only thing you have to do is change the Gauge Bezel.

I bought a speedometer cluster from Ebay and a Guage Bezel from local dealer.

It took about 30 minutes for the whole change out.

Hope this helps someone else out.

I guess GM took a page out of Chrysler's book, and stores the Mileage in the BCM.

No, The mileage is still kept in the cluster on full size trucks.

The canyon and Colorado are kept in the BCM.

UPDATE

Ok guys I was kinda wrong on the speedometer swap from idot lights to full gauge cluster.

It is not an actually Plug & Play.

Just got back from dealer, the tech had to contact GM and download something into the Tech 2.

After doing whatever he did with tech 2, everything is working great.

I can actually see what the Amp reading is, also the voltage is doing.

Sorry about the mis-information.

However, after the cluster was programmed, I really like the added advantage of seeing what I could not before.
