Am needing to change my cats. Talked to a exhaust shop and was told that my truck can only have a certain cat on it or else it wont pass smog and or inspection. They were priced to me at $500! Thats crap. I want to replace them with a set of good ol' hi flo cats but want to make triple sure that I wont regret it this may when I back her up on the smog rollers.

get a set of C.A.R.B. approved Magnaflow ones....I hear amazon.com is a cheap place to get them....some other people should come up with other places too.

Right on, thanks. I just cant justify spending a thousand plus dollars for a new set of cats. I should have that x pipe in my truck by this weekend, i'll let you know how she turns out.
