Our lager

Which art in barrels

Hallowed by thy drink

Thy will be drunk

At home as in the tavern

Give us this day our foamy bread

And forgive us our spillages

As we forgive those

Who spill against us

And lead us not to incarceration

But deliver us from hangovers

For thine is the beer,

The bitter,

The ale,

This was written by my roommate last year, quite a good effort while under its influence.

 

i'm at the store, and i see you across the way.

i wonder how you would react if i came over there.

i dream of what it would be like to have you and to hold you,

though soon i am home trying to figure out why I left without you.

 

i go out later that night and i see you at the party.

everyone is having a good time especially those with you,

and i wonder where you were earlier when i was by myself.

i see you in the corner alone and i make my way toward you.

i see that you are pure and innocent and without flaw.

i take you in my arms and suddenly i feel like a king,

i look around to see if someone else was with you,

though no one seems to notice that i have finally found you.

i take you into the backroom where we can be together.

i taste the sweet nectar from your mouth and realize i'm in love,

for you have been brewed for a naturally smooth taste,

my love,

natural light.
