2002 Gmc Sierra 2500hd 6.0

Hi I have 2002 GMC sierra 2500HD 6.0 with manuel heat and ac . Blower motor only working on 5 high speed. I replaced blower resistor assuming it was that. You know what they say about assuming. Anyway I checked all fuses all ok. I checked power on 7 wire harness to resistor and switched blower switch on dash to see if power switched to the different wires and it did. I am kind of stumped ant suggestions I did check ground wire on harness and is grounded. I am ready to try another resistor but I dont think its that. Thanks for any help Mike.

Well I am making a response to my own question. It was a defective resistor seems funny same exact proplem as original but it was. I pulled out some hair that I didn't have to begin with. Well after testing everything and still really believe it would be the resistor lessoned learned go with your gut insinct. Thanks for everybody looking anyway.
