Abs And Brake Light On After Black Bear Tune

ok so I just got my new ecm and tcm from justin at black bear. after literally 300 feet of driving the abs and brake lights kicked on.

 

Im assuming that the only adverse effect would be no abs?? I dont mind that because abs is garbage anyway imo.

 

Does anyone know of anyway to get rid of the lights? Im assuming its because the ecm and brake module are not communicating correctly with my different tire size? Stock is 265 65 18 and now im at 295 70 18

 

I think for now Im just going to remove the bulbs for the lights. I have the dash apart and the speedo.cluster out but I have to run to the shop tomorrow to get my torx bits.

 

I took all the abs fuses out and unhooked the brake switch from the master cylinder but the lights still stayed on, blah!!!

 

anyone have any similar problems or fixes?

my 2 cents says call blackbear and get it sorted out and fixed right.

It is due to your larger tire size and lift. Shoot Justin an email to confirm the sizes inputed into your tune. Do you have aftermarket gears as well? No need to tear stuff apart, it is an issue with the eBCM, which may need to be calibrated for your tires, due to the size being too far off of stock.

I'd get it fixed, but then I'm the guy who got a lot of money when some one slid into the back of my truck. After disabling the abs system.

yes Justin got all my info. my rear end is stock at 3.42 with a stock tire size of 265 65 18 now it has 295 70 18 on it. Justin said it may come on and sure enough it did. He is at a tune function so Ill have to wait till monday probably. i know for sure the problem lies within the ebcm but I dont know if there is a way to program that without affecting the tune, since the ebcm and ecm have to tie in together.
