Aux Lighting

Recommended Posts

Posted

I have been doing a lot of Mountain driving at night out here in Washington and would like to add some auxillary lights (driving/long range) on my 08 Silverado.

I want something that does not change the aerodynamics too bad and looks good, if you guys have added lighting please post pics, thanks.

My other thought is simply upgrading my High Beams, any thoughts on that as well and how much of an improvement would I see as oposed to adding lights?

Quickest way would be to use HIDs in the high beams IF you do not have to cycle them that much (no consistent oncoming traffic). If you do have the traffic issue, throw some "jeep" lights behind the grille and use a simple switch in the cab... dont spend over $100.00 for a pair though.
