plowtruck Posted February 11, 2010 Posted February 11, 2010 Why is it that alot of games have small fonts? I have pretty good vision and a 48" Phillips LCD tv and I just bought Mass effect 2 and I can barely read anything the font is small and blurry.

Same with the deadliest catch game, i bought that played it for about an hour and sold it because I coudlnt read how much fuel i had or how much bait to buy etc. Its aggravating. haha I see, lol; I guess when it's cold and snowing outside up were you live, a good way to pass your time indoors is a good ole role playing game. and I thought on the Mass effect games you can choose between voice or reading the words?

Daryl LBZ Posted February 11, 2010 Posted February 11, 2010 I had that problem when I had my old regular type TV. Do you have your hooked up with an HDMI or HIDef Video Cables Instead of the old type AV Cables. Another thing is do you have it set to HDTV Picture Settings in your option menu on the Xbox Dashboard?

Thanks again Daryl.
Jubei69 Posted February 11, 2010 Posted February 11, 2010 If your tv is capable, in your xbox dashboard you need to select 1080p, next would be 1080i, then 720p, then 480i then 480. You need to match your xbox video output to what your TV settings...
