Fuel Issue

i think im having a fuel issue on my 04 ext cab 5.3 i am running 32 inch tires i know that makes a little difference on fuel millage but should i be getting more that 60 km per 20 liters ? I am gonna replace all 8 plugs tomorrow and i was wondering was there a special plug i should buy other than ngk bosch ? All you help would be appreciated this truck is costing alot in fuel

You probably do best with AC Delco plugs as they are OEM.

Id stick with Ac Delco as well but thats just my 2 cents

Have you had VSS corrections made for the 32' tires? If not get it done ASAP as this is the input the PCM need for fueling and transmission controls.

Hey i never had any corrections made to anything on this truck i just purchased 32 bfg mud terrains installed them and tires made a huge impact on millage how would i come about programming this in to my truck?

Have you had VSS corrections made for the 32' tires? If not get it done ASAP as this is the input the PCM need for fueling and transmission controls.

 

 

Not only what Redvett said above, but your speedometer and odometer will be off. They will be significantly slower than stock. This will affect the numbers used to calculate your mileage.

But will having this vss correction improve my milage because i'm about to take these tires off and put back on the stock tires but i hate to do that because there amazing tires and look good on my truck also were can i have these vss corrections made and what exactly is it? thanks for the imput

I put 305's of the same tire on a month ago and my mileage suffered a good bit.. But I expected that.. bad ass tire by the way !
