Front End "bounces" Up And Down.... New Struts Or Springs N

Hello. I have a 2005 Sierra with about 50K miles. It rides really nice and I never tow anything, but sometimes the front end bounces up and down a little too much. It corners fine, but if you drive over big dips in the road the front end will start bouncing up and down a little too much for my taste. Over dips the front of the truck can get too "Boaty" riding like a Big Cadillac on air shocks lol.....

 

I wanna firm it up. Do I need front struts, springs or both? Also, is there a performace strut I can buy to firm it up? I dont want a strut to raise it. I definately do not want to raise it at all. I just want it firmer riding with less bounce up front.

 

Ebay has some KYB GR2 struts. Would these work? Should I get new stiffer springs?? Im hoping just a set of performance struts will help. What do you think??

2005 trucks dont have struts...its either a torsion bar (4x4) or coil spring (2wd).

 

in either case, you need new shocks. Bilstein are the most popular oem replacements and should certainly firm up the ride.

The truck is 2WD. So I have shocks and springs up front, correct? Should I purchase a "particular" set or model of bilsteins, or just search for whatever bilsteins may fit?
