2004 2500hd Onstar Vcim Location

I need the location of the Onstar module for my 2004 2500HD Chevy. It is an extended cab, 2wd with Bose XM 6 disc integrated stereo. Captain's chairs with center console.

Pretty sure its 4 screws to remove the glove locker and you can reach it from there...

Why do you want to remove it...are you another one of those guys afraid of big brother.

I'm replacing the bad module with a bluestar 2010 which bluetooths your telephone to the truck's stereo, onstar, and steering wheel controls. All I really need are the two plug-ins to use for the new module. Working through the glove box, I couldn't get my hands on it. I've been told to remove the upper dash pad and look on the firewall. Does anyone have a source for me to look for illustrations or instructions?

cluster trim goes ,vents ,panic handle,side dash covers and all the screws that hold the dash pad ,pull it straight out or buy a yr subscription to alldata for 27 bucks ,NO BRAINER
