Drop Shackle ?

i got a 1990 c1500 i just bought it has a belltech 5/7 drop with c-notch my question is its too low in the rear can i ditch the rear 2 inch lowering shackle in the rear and put a stock shackle back in with the aftermarket spring hangers

Why is it too low in the rear? It should be level with a 5/7 drop. If you change shakles you are going to have 2 inches of rake, which will not look good on a lowered truck.

right now its almost sitting on the bumpstop on the c-notch no traval at all hit any bump and its on the stop i have about 1 inch maybe between the axle tube and c-notch on the frame but the bumpstop takes that up so it on the bumpstop and the top of the rearend is about 3/16 of a inch from hitting the bed
