Rear End Pulls Right In Snow

I'm noticing on my new truck that when there is significant scow on the road, my truck in 4hi, rear pulls to right. Is it these duravis M700 tires, or something in the axle? It doest happen in 4hi in heavy rain, or at all in 2hi.

The first thing I'd do is check the air pressure in your tires and make sure they are even side to side.

Since the truck doesn't do it in 2hi in the snow, that means that 4wd is the problem. Find some dry pavement and put the truck in 4hi and see if she still pulls. If it pulls on dry pavement, the 4wd is the problem. If it drives straight, then the snow is causing the 4wd issue. Due to the design of the 4wd system on these trucks, I think it's the passenger side wheel is the one that typically does most of the "driving". See if the truck still pulls in 4lo. If it doesn't, it's your imagination.

i dont know, what could actually be wrong? what happens different in 4x4 in the rear then in normal 2x2? op, being how bad the north east has got hit this winter, you sure the snow isnt so deep that maybe the front end is slipping a little bit(but still grapping every now and then to move the truck), and the back end is just letting loose even the tid bit? as the other poster said check the tire pressure, as this could be happening. i know in my quad if the back is off even 3psi it pulls a little to that side doing a wheelie. a truck holds alot more air but if this is the case that they are off, its still going to find the weakest link under these conditions.

what are you doing when it happens? plowing?

If the air pressure in your tires is different side to side on an axle it changes the rolling diameter of the tires and can cause a pull. Check the tire pressures first.

Rear pressure is 70psi even right and left. Front is 50ps, even.
