Black And Blue Truck

So I must say thanks to everyone on here for the help...having said that I would also like to say thanks for helping my bank account dwindle.

 

My question is: I have an 09 Sierra Midnight Blue Metallic - WT. I have the black grill, black handles, tonneau, tinted windows etc. - the only chrome as you all know are those damn bumpers and the chrome running boards. I love the look of a 'meaner' truck so I'm very happy with the black grill and I am thinking that black rims are the way to go.

 

Will it look weird having black rims on a blue truck? Has anyone done that?

I think so. I went with polished aluminum, with some charcoal painted inlays. You might consider wheels with a polished face and black behind it though...

get the black rims.. they will look good since theres next to no chrome on your truck

Black rims would definitely be the way to go. And if you can maybe get rid of the chrome all together by PTM them for a complete black and blue look.

That's what I was thinking - the only reason I got the running boards was because GM was giving them away for free when you bought the truck. Thanks!

yes. just look in my sig. i thinkit looks good. i plan on adding black steps. not sure which way i wanna go with the bed rails though. theres just enough chrome on it now, anymore may not be good.

I think it looks good too - I've been thinking I'll take my steps off - they actually are a little annoying with the dirt and salt ... now just to pick a set of wheels.
