With respect to herkdriver, I am posting my project in his original thread as opposed to his how to thread. Actually I have no idea which would be best..So herkdriver my appologies if I am threadjacking.

This is the initial fitment in the housing, lights are dusty and projectors are only sitting in their respective slots, rear fasteners are only hand tight. I had to do some dremel work to get the high beam projector to sit a little further back in the light housing and Im happy how it turned out.

Projectors are the same as herkdrivers as I belive these are one of a small few that will fit without doing something with the truck supports behind the headlights. Space is just so limited behind the light.

 

I think the lights now have way too much of a crome look to them, so I belive I will paint some of it. Belive I will use the nightshades paint.

 

Lights have been cleared of the side marker lights using the write up posted by herkdriver in both of his threads.

 

So I still have lots of work to do. Just wanted to give an update and a thanks again to Herkdriver for his original work.

AKBlue, no worries man...you've got a GMT900 as well, so why not include it here?

 

Looks like a good project...SEE WHAT I MEAN ABOUT TOO MUCH CHROME? Just kidding...the quad projector is gonna look great when you're done!

Yep, looks really good. Although it is much chrome, I think you lose the projectors in all of it so they don't stand out as much.

So I was looking at my headlights today and the Sierras have a really square housing. I really don't know if it would work for me to do this. Guess I really have to just buy a spare light, cut it open, and see if they work.

sorry to bring up such an old post. i'm doing as much research as i can ahead of time. i'll be trying to do my gmc sierra on sat the 2/23. any tips or advice? do you have a parts and/or tools list by chance?
