Wind has these effects upon us that are high!!!!

Ziggy

This is Major Tom to Ground Control

I'm stepping through the door

And I'm floating in a most peculiar way

And the stars look very different today

For here

Am I sitting in a tin can

Far above the world

Planet Earth is blue

And there's nothing I can do...

First truck??? I don't even notice it...... Any more that is...

Check sway bar end links and bushings. Edgewise tie rods or rack and pinion.

That is unless your hearing a popping, clicking, or rattles from under the dash. The intermediate steering shaft are bad to go out on GMT800's......

My Z85's are nice and tight (1999 1500 2wd and 2001 2500 4wd), but at interstate speeds, a good heavy gust of wind without holding the wheel will pitch you with the wind....

If you don't have one from the factory or haven't done it already, install a rear sway bar. It makes a TON of difference.

I haven't really noticed it. Either way while learning how to drive with my learners permit I drove a "78" Chevy van durning the winter and with northeastern blowing, so even if it blows a little I won't mind.

Yeah, wind is more annoyance than a problem ... its to be expected. Our trucks are not very aerodynamic and compared to how most cars deal with wind, we are just rolling bricks

edit: when i took my window/cover/visor thing off (they go over the outer edge of the window) i noticed it seemed a little less shifty but maybe thats cuz they made more noise and now its just quieter?

My two GMT900's (08&09) seem to be pushed around way more than my two GMT800's (03&06), and yeah it can be very annoying.
