Who Has Raptor 5 Inch Oval Step Bars?

I ordered the Raptors last week, came in two days later. I love the fact that they have a welded endcap as opposed to a plastic one. I get them home, get ready to install, and the one that I unwrap has 4 small dents in it! There was no damage to the shipping box and the packaging was intact and very protective. I see a couple QA inspection stickers and laughed. The steps are great looking, but the gauge of metal seems to be too light. Anyone owning these having problems with dents from road debris and normal wear and tear? I was simply going to take them back for another set, but I don't know... :)

Same here. Had mine about a month, after seeing a photo of Dean's on his '09. Handles my big frame well. Nice and solid.

ordered mine last thursday, should be coming in any day now. will definitely post and take some pics and give a review when i get them. maybe it was just a manufacturing fault? these things happen here and there with just about everything. i bought a brand new 55" lcd a few months ago, and two days after i had it, an hdmi input went bad. just ranting.........but good luck with your bars.....

Yes, it is most def a manufacturer fault. As I said, box was totally intact, and there were Quality Assurance "inspected" stickers all over. Also mentioned the fact that the gauge of metal used seemed to be too light. Definitely seemed like a thinner gauge than that of other round nerf bars I have owned. I am curious to see how yours work out for you. Please keep me informed!
