I am new to these kinds of lift and I do at TON of driving so I don't need something that will cause problems. Hope some of you can really give some imput on these leveling kits!!!

This kit works on the new "900" series 2007-08 Chevrolet/GMC 4x4 pickups.

Installation of this kit allows for 33" tall tires (16"-26" rims, stock offset) to be used without rubbing!

I wouldn't be comfortable putting in a spacer that big. It will lead to premature ball joint wear etc.

Like you mentioned 1.5" is about the biggest for a spacer to not cause major issues. If i were you and wanted 2.5-3" of lift, go with a body lift. Either 1.5" suspension leveling kit + 1.5" body lift or a 3" body lift.

I have an 07 silverado with the Truxxx leveling kit. It is the 2.5 Frt and 1.25 RR. The kit came with 6- 1/4" spacers. 3 for each side plus a 3/4 inch spacer for under your shock. So its pretty adjustable you can install one 1/4"spacer per side or two per side or all three and each will give you different amounts of lift. The 3 spacers measure .75" added to the .75" of the shock spacer combined is only 1.50". but it gives 2.50" of lift. I have drove 13,000 miles since late Oct when I installed the kit. I have not had any trouble with it. Just got back from a 1400 mile trip and the truck drives good. I am also running the 275-70-18 goodyear Duratracs.

I have put 44k on this kit...82k total on the truck and haven't had any issues yet.

its way more llft than most people would suggest to run with the leveling kit... 1.5" is safe, 2" is probably as big as I would ever go. I duno though I havent had a leveling kit for that long. I ran one on this truck before the lift for about 10k. it was a 2"
