I just did mine yesterday on my sierra and had to pop the air box out on and on the driver side I just jammed my hand in there around the washer fluid bottle. What are you going to do about the auto headlights? Also do you have any pics of your truck with the headlight covers? If you want to take the headlights out you have to take the trim piece off under the light and there is 2 more bolts there. To do that take the 2 bolts out on both sides of the trim piece and there are 1 bolts on both sides going up into the fender, then just pop the piece out.

I got mine done a while back and did it the same way as "chris's07". I think its easier that way. On the passenger side just shove your hand in there after you pop your filter out and on the driver side you can make it easier by removing the top bolt that hold your washer fluid bottle and pull it back to give you some more room then just zip tie your balast somewhere where it has a little bit of room to move around and catch a little bit of air so it doesnt heat up as bad and go out(thats what the guy i bought them from told me). Hope this helped.

Thanks guys, did what you both suggested. Now, about the relay harness, I have it all hooked up, but with no instructions in the box, im not sure what the two metal "eyes" are for?? Do I hook them both to the battery, both to a ground, or one to bat one to ground? No indication to which is which if its one to each.

I will try and take a pic this aft for you, as for the auto headlights, im hoping the relay will take care of that, then all I have to do is mess with the cpu "DIC" and get it to quit flashing the headlights when locking and unlocking.

K got her all hooked up, one to positive, one to negative. Now, when the lights are on, I can hear a high pitched hum coming from the ballasts, is that normal? They are ddm lights, 55w ballast, 6000K. Thanks.

Yup, that's normal. You shouldn't hear it when the engine is running (V8 grumble drowns it out), but with the engine off the noise is there.
