Nav Unit Dvd Upgrades With New Purchase

I have a 2008 GMC HD and have been unable to get my free updates (2 each) since my purchase in Feb 2008. Up

until Jan 2010, the system said no updates available. I called in and left contact notes on a regular basis. The

system was to email me when they were again available. It never happened and in Feb 2010 I called back and said

I never received my mail notice or email notice. I had to escallate for them to provide me the new 2010 version of the DVD.

I was told I would only get this one update. They tried to claim the program was cancelled early January. I pressed them

and they agreed to give me one update.

 

This treatment was not what I expected for the purchase of a $53k truck. Had they not given me what I was promised

at purchase, I would have magnetically erased the existing DVD and made a warranty claim!!
