Couple Of Questions New To Lifts

I just had a bds 3" body lift put on my truck, now im wanting a suspension lift. Would yall do the rancho or a fabtech, skyjacker or any other 6" lift im trying to stay around 1500 plus rancho has the 500 back on a card right now. So should I do a rancho or a 6" to get that extra 1" or so over the rancho?

I would go with a 6". If you go Rancho, after a few weeks when the awe wears off you will want a couple more inches out of it. Fabtech is really closer to 8" of lift and my BDS gave me about 7" of lift.

Ranchos the best deal at the moment... other lifts are bigger. its whatever u want. Like posted though what u doing for wheels and tires? IF you have 33s I wouldnt go with a fabtech youll look silly. 3" and fabtech is 37" tire territory.

im going with the bds 6" high clearance lift. will a 17x9 rim with a 4.5 bs stick out real far? or should it look fine, i would like to keep my 33 for a week or 2 after i get the lift to find some nice tires

It will probably stick out around 1.5" further than the OEM rims.

plus whatever the lift does. They usually widen the front track width. Fabtech does, i think the bds does, im not sure about the rancho

I did Fabtech, simply because it was the lift that was on my 2005 Silverado and never had any issues with it. Secondly when I was in the market for a lift for my 09 Sierra, just browsing through this forum and other online sites and seeing pictures of others lifted, I liked the stance it produce. At first I wasnt fond of how the tires stuck out a little and was concerned it would stick out to much, but now seeing the offset I have on mine, I really like it. I was able to purchase my lift for $1685.20 with free shipping from 4wheelonline.com which I did recieve my lift in a week and half from date of purchase. Its ultimately up to your taste and your pockets on what you choose.

Great choice on the lift first of all. Secondly, those wheels should have roughly an inch less bs and are an inch wider than stock. Throw in the new BDS knuckles and tires and you will probably be hanging a good 3 inches past the fender.
