Paint & Wheels!

Finished the mirrors, the whole grill, re-did the rear tailgate spoiler and license plate bracket, removed the 4x4 stickers and put on the 26" wheels! Next will be matching the rear bowtie with the front design (white with silver pinstripe), onstar antenna, 1% tint on the rear, and some smoked tail lights.

Yeah the front slightly rubs at full crank - only because of the mud flaps. I will trim them a little bit tomorrow, the wheel and tire measure up to 32.xx". If i was to remove the front guards they'd be fine but I like the look and protection.

You must have no sidewall haha. I think my tires measure 32.4 inches with the 24's. Anyway I got another question for ya.. was wondering how you did your bumper if you sanded it primed it painted it and all that or took it to a shop. Im going to paint my bumpers black just trying to figure out the best way to go about it. Thanks

hey c03, the actual middle part of my bumper(the metal below grill was already white). Everything else; lower valance, air deflector, license plate bracket, mirrors, grill, emblem, rear bumper trim, tailgate handle and spoiler thing were all sanded right down to a smooth surface then painted. Primer wasn't needed as my paint code is a tri-coat - the single stage white was like a primer. MAKE SURE you sand everything to a smooth surface - or tell the shop to sand all pieces down because if you don't, it will chip and start peeling...fast!

under the hood. I will be getting some airbrushing done to the engine cover in a few weeks, not sure what exactly yet.
