I just bought a 07 Z71 Crew Cab and the P.O. took the rear blocks out of the rear. I'm looking for the OEM blocks ( also called spacers) that go between the springs and axle. I'm hoping someone has some laying around.

Thanks

classic or the newer body style.....and does anyone know if there is a difference when it comes to the blocks he's asking about?

05silvycrew,

it is a classic. It would be nice to know if the newer boby style would work.

Cerbomark,

I don't need the u-bolts so that would cut down on shipping :) What would you want for the blocks? The USPS has boxes and if it fits it ships I'm thinkin it would be around ten bucks but I could be wrong. what is a GMT900 (newbie question)

Thanks Brian

what is a GMT900 (newbie question)

900 series is the new body style platform. I believe '99 up to our body style (including 07 classic) is considered a GMT800 series platform. still no definite answer about whether the classic and new body style blocks are interchangable.

This Summer I'm planning on pulling the rear blocks out of mine, and would give you the blocks with the U-bolts (pretty sure you'll need longer U-bolts) for just the shipping cost. I know it's not ideal time-wise, but it might be an option.

When they removed the blocks they put spacers on the u-bolts so they wouldn't run out of threads(MICKEY MOUSE). The u-bolts on the truck are the correct ones. Time-wise it may take that long so keep me in mind when you do the work.

Thanks
