How to undo a drop.

Hey guys,

I have a 91 S-10 that I bought with I think, a 4" drop,

I know many of you love your low-riders, but I want to raise mine back up.  I dont like the ride or the fact that It wont make it through a feild. I have to say the cornering is awsome though.   I understand that I would have to take the block out from under the back, but I have now clue on how the front was lowered, or how to raise it back up.

I am exsperenced with working on cars, I have a CJ-7, but need some advice.

Thanks

I am not completely sure, and you probly know better than me anyways, but it depends on the drop.  If it is a simple suspension drop then it might be just as easy as new springs/shocks.  I would suggest figuring out what kind of drop it is, and then figure out what parts were changed.  Then just replace them with stock!

if it is a body drop then it probably isnt worth it.  Correct me if i am wrong guys, but it would be a huge pain in the ass to undo.

or you could just get a 12" lift kit and it will even out the drop and you will get a lifted truck! lol.

hahahahha  excuse me for laughing at ya siilt  but ya can't undo a body drop,  it's way different than a body lift lol

now for the technical words:

you acheive a body drop by channeling the frame into the cab by moving the floor up in the cab  thus leving the rocker panels with the bottom of the frame.

I know.  Hense the fact that it would be a huge pain.  I am sure it is possible, with a welder!!

Its a suspention drop, not a body drop, theirs probubly some special term for it, but I wouldnt know it.

but thanks anyway.

Yeah it's called a static drop, and i would need to know how the truck was lowered in the front to tell you how to fix it...were they after market lowering springs, control arms, spindels or what...?
