2003 Sonoma Zr2 Rear Brakes

I need to replace the rear rotors and pads on my truck. Got one rotor off and it was a little difficult, small sledge and wedged pry bar opposite to get it off. The E-brake is a strange thing, spring steel piece w/pads. It looks ok. Do I just fiddle this thing back in place and hope the new rotor slips on properly in place? Is there any trick I should apply before putting the thing back together? The truck has 97000 miles on it and this could well be it's first rear job. The inside on the rotor has a fair amount of rust built up. I would think the rear brakes don't get much of a work-out on a generally empty truck. I plan to disassemble and re-lube the brake pins on the caliper. The seals all look good. The only symptom I have is a failed state inspection :-)

Thanks

Well, the job expanded. Calipers are bad. The E-Brake turned out to be easy to adjust. All-in-all the job is going pretty well. Dumb design for one of the bracket bolts on each caliper, behind the brake hose. Other than that the parts are cheap and the job is pretty easy.
