How did this come about?

Hey hogger, You flatter me asking for my sig but, be careful.....I don't need my head to be gettin' any bigger or it might explode

 

This came about because another board had a post from it's manager stating that a National Publication was looking to do an article on Women and Pickup Trucks, asking for volunteers to participate.  I emailed the manager, said I'd love to talk about my truck.  The author of the article called and interviewed me by phone, then called back and asked me for pics and e-mailed me advising that the article was published.  I had no idea what to expect and was completely, 100% shocked when I picked up the mag. and saw that I had the lead photo.  Just way too cool!  :blues:

Finny thing was, I remember seeing this article the first time, however when I read what it was about (Queen of the Road) I skipped on.  No offense I hope.

LOL!  I did once you pointed it out.  I wish they'd have interviewed you more than that Nissan designer, Jane Nakagawa (I think that's how her last name is spelled).  

 

I think at the time I was more interested in the Envoy XUV and of course the gas vs. diesel comparo.  The rest I just thumbed through.   :upside:

 

And you didn't even plug GM-Trucks.com!  Shame on you!
