09 Nav System

Our new to us 09 Silverado LTZ came with the Bose Nav system. It was a dealer install. I am still waiting for the manual but did find one for a 2010 that seems to be the same. When you look at the screen that shows the different options at the top ( soft buttons: nav, radio,etc.) there is one for Hybrid. But this is not a hybrid truck. The BU time soft button due to the hybrid.Camera is still connected to the mirror but that is OK. I do not have a clock on the screen as there is no soft button for that. My question : Is there a setup menu that would eliminate that Hybrid screen and button? Is there a way to get a time soft button??

I accidentally bought one off ebay and installed it into my wife's Tahoe only to find out it was from a Hybrid. I know what you're talking about. They installed the wrong Nav unit into your truck. The Hybrid Nav units have the ability to show you the performance of the Hybrid system. Take it back to the dealer and tell them to swap it for the correct one.

 

I resold the one I bought and got the correct one. They should have known better.
