Any way to add cruise control?

I really miss my cruise control in my last car. It's such a nice luxury to have!  

 

Is there any kit I can buy to add it to my jimmy?  Something I can install myself?

 

How reliable are add on kits?

I don't know how reliable they are, but I thought JC Whitney sold add on cruise control.

I am not sure as I have never tried to install an aftermarket cruise control setup before. Why don't you call them or email them and give them your vehicle information and ask them if it will work with your Jimmy. I know I had factory cruise on my 1985 S-10 Blazer.
