The Dealer Agreed On 29k

Well stopped at the dealer and I got them to 29k on my 08 ltz crew. They seem to like the lift and really want my truck. The new one is 32k after perfer discount and 6500 rebate. Its a 2010 ltz 6.2. Heres a pic. It has 342 gears. Can I run my 373 stock gears out of my 2008 in this 2010 truck?

The 6.2, 6spd and 3.42s will kill your 5.3 4spd 3.73s... get the damn truck and dont worry about the gears

hahaha, I put 456 in my 08 and my 373 gears are in a tub of oil in the garage. That 2010 is just a nite and day from my 08. I went to the dealer after work to see what the would do on my 08. They let me drive it home tonite to think about it. I have to let them know in the morning.

No,Your '08 w/the 5.3 has the 8.6" rear end,the '10 w/the 6.2 has the 9.5" rear-end.

But are you sure the '10 has 3.42s? Reason I'm questioning this is because in order to get the 6.2 you need to get one of three suspension pkgs....Z71,Z60,or Z85....And that truck does not have the Z71 or Z60 suspension.

The only one left is Z85,and in order to get the Z85 suspension w/the 6.2 you must get the "NHT" Max-Trailering Pkg.,and 3.73's come as part of the NHT pkg.

Post the VIN and I'll run a build sheet on it.

Yep,Now if it had the Z71 or Z60 suspension it would have 3.42's,But with the NHT pkg. and Z85 suspension it comes with 3.73's.

They had another one with 20 in wheels. they were chrome but they felt kind of cheep like the were coated with a thin layer of metal and they were to shinny.

Kinda surprising they didn't put bigger wheels on that thing. Rich, you may need to upgrade your truck soon. Can wait to pick mine up on Monday. Got the Z71 and the 3.42
