Odd Dic Question

well i drive my 04 into town roughly 30 miles, and parked it...came back two hours later and the dic screen was glowing green with just the little cubes, it read nothing....i'm like wtf so i hopped in and popped the ignition to run to make sure everything worked fine and it did....but i just want to know why this happened, the key was not the ignition and all doors, windows and acessorys were either unplugged or off...the screen shut off soon as i opened the door also...thanks in advance

My DIC doesn't Dim any longer when the lights are on. Sounds like a computer glitch. Maybe the reset fixed it?

i don't think your dic is suppose to dim at night, idk mine just turned on by itself and just sat there lit until i opend the door

Just another thing we don't understand. Don't fear the Reaper. DIC can fail to work when it gets old.

uh yeah it still works fine, i just wanted to know why it randomly started glowing by itself...

Maybe it's a transformer?
