Rc Leveling Kit Problems?

Has anyone with a NBS silverado or sierra had any problems with the RC 2 inch leveling kit causing any pre mature wear and tear on the front suspension of your truck? I have been looking at leveling kits for my 08 silverado crew z71 and am leaning towards the RC kit just wanting to know if anyone has had any problems out of it. Thanks

Yes quite a few have had their ball joints go south on them alot faster then normal with spacers. Do a search and you will find lots of reading material and sure alot of people with GMT-900's will chime in.

 

Some guys have milled down the plastic spacers so they only achieve 1 1/2 inches of lift instead of the 2 like the kit gives you to help lessen the wear on the parts.

Had mine on my truck for 20,000+ miles with no problems yet.

I don't think there are any "problems" with them. Plenty of people have had them on their trucks for thousands and thousands of miles. Your ball joints will go eventually. The RC level may cause them to go slightly sooner than stock. With so many people running these there can't be that big of a problem.
