Oil Pressure Gauge

Hey guys. I'm wondering if anyones seen this problem? MY '04 Yukon 5.3, 115k, oil pressure gauge is pegged all the way to the max, or actually past max. Does this sound like a sending unit issue/gauge issue? I just did an oil change with a Wix filter and the oil level is fine. It seems to be running fine. Any suggestions???

The instrument panel clusters had problems for a few years including '04. Has yours been replaced already under that warranty? This could be the issue or just a bad sending unit or stepper motor

Not sure if it's been replaced. I bought it used. Anyone know if it'd be still covered? I read its only covered under warranty for 70k????

If it has been replaced under warranty, then any GM dealer will be able to pull it up in their system and tell you. Warranty was only for 70k, at 115 you're farked.
