5 Speed Hard To Shift

Well I changed the tranny oil to the gm stuff. see a little difference but still stiff. Upon looking down into the transmission it seems the rod the shift mechanism connects to is the culprit. I took the top of transmission shifter off and look inside after it was warm and shifting nice and the shifter inside the tranny moved side to side easily, but when cold I couldn't move it by hand at all.

 

Thanks for everyones input on this! Atleast now I know I have new clutch components.

Update on the hard shifting. Took it to a transmission shop after the new slave cylinder cracked and was leaking hydraulic oil. They pulled the tranny and found out the hard shifting was caused by the brass bushings on the shifter forks being worn out. They replaced them and it shifts like a brand new transmission. Thanks for all the input from you guys!!!
