Exhaust Questions

I'm going to be replacing my stock muffler for a Magnaflow soon but also need the tailpipe tubing since mine got bent up. Looking at cat-backs but they seem to be dual pipes which I don't want. Anyone know where I can find a Magnaflow catback exhaust that exits with one tailpipe like the factory one? Not looking for all out performance since it's a work truck but want a nice mellow sound. It seems like there 18" or 24" muffler is what I want. Or if anyone knows where I can get just the muffler and tubing out the back? Truck is a 2000 2500 ECSB 6.0l

Why don't won't true duals? Duals are better, IMO. I've got a dual setup on my 2001 ccsb 6.0l, but they're 12" flowmasters. If I had it to do again, I'd go with dual magnaflows or borlas. My setup is in "my garage". If you don't want true duals get a dual in single out magnaflow.

Don't like the look unless the truck is lowered. I plow with mine so that ain't happening, lol. That's the thing, I didn't see a dual in/ single out Magnaflow when I looked. I did however find out that Magnaflow does offer the tailpipe tubing, so now it's just about finding a muffler

magnaflow mufflers are reversable so you could take a 1 in 2 out and turn it around and it becomes 2 in 1 out

Alright so here's another question for you guys. I know my current tailpipe is 3" but what size is it going into the stock muffler? Is it also 3"?

Alot of People prefer magnaflows #12229 Muffler..you can snag it on ebay from 75-100$

The 12229 is a single in/single out muffler. My 6.0L has a dual in/single out. I know that one is popular with the 5.3 guys. I believe I narrowed it down to either the 12298 or 12590. The first being 18" and the second being 22", both 3"dual in/3"single out.
