New Camper - Overheating Problems

I have a 2004 Chevy Silverado 1 Ton with the Duramax Diesel. I have pulled other campers with this truck but never in Vermont. Bought a new camper this year near the same size as previous unit. I have been overheating on each trip up long hills. Had the Rad flushed with no improvements. Sit for an hour and I can start off again and usually make it to my destination. Would appreciate any suggestions.

I've read about problems with 2004 and some 2005 duramax trucks overheating when towing much. It sounds like a air intake problem and barely adequate amount of coolant problem to me from all the descriptions. dieselplace.com has some threads on it.

Killerbee has some good thoughts on this, I don't have a duramax but if I bought a 04-05, I would budget to put this kit in.

This guy is busy, not sure how quick folks are getting the kits. I am not endorsing him, just heard that it can fix the problem.
