chevysilverado09 Posted July 14, 2010 Posted July 14, 2010 I have a 4wd Reg. Cab Silverado Im powder coating my stock 17's so all i need is tires. I have a rough country 2" leveling kit and and a1.5" body lift kit. My question is will a 295/70/17 (33's) Tire fit properly and look nice
sab316 Posted July 14, 2010 Posted July 14, 2010 With the level and body lift, yeah the 295/70/17's (which measure out to like 33.5 or so) will look good. Some people are running them on just leveled trucks but they say they don't rub and I think its a load. But you should be fine with the BL. I was thinking about doing the same thing next summer. Add a 1.5" Body Lift and then run some 295/70/17 Trail Grapplers... I think it would look good. Post some pics up after you do it so I can see how it looks
All-Terrain780 Posted July 16, 2010 Posted July 16, 2010 i have 2.5 inch leveling kit and rear blocks with 285/65/r18 nitto trail grapplers and have no rubbing at all! get the nittos instead on the bfg's at. trail grapplers are a very very nice tire.
pappy232 Posted July 23, 2010 Posted July 23, 2010 i have ford keys which have it raised about 2.5 in the front.. and a 2 inch block in the rear... im runnin 295/70/17 nitto terra grapplers.. i live up north so i switch wheels between summer and winter.. chrome ar in the summer.. stock in winter... stock wheels no problem.. chome american racing cannons which stick out 1.5 inches or better from stock rubbed until i cut about a half inch off the valance and inner fenderwell
