Replacing Starter Motor (gmc Sierra 2008)

Hey guys Iam replacing the starter motor on my 2008 gmc sierra 1500 5.3 v8

and I picked up a starter from auto zone I had a hunch on how to do it but I wasnt 100% sure on how do it I didnt really want to screw it up. I would take it to my mechanic but I think Iam going to try it.

 

So can anyone please tell me the steps on how do it.

 

Possibly even a diagram from shop key 5 or alldata?

 

its fine if you dont ill take any info you can through out.

You can also try a Chiltons manual. It would come in handy for many other repairs in the future
