Cold Start

I have a noisy lifter on a cold start.

Last maybe 5 seconds?

Just started about a week ago.

I'm do for an oil change, will that make it stop?

what motor is it? if its a v8 its probably piston slap....if thats the case your shit out of luck, and the majority of v8s on the market have it, its not harmful and there is not much besides putting a new motor in to try to stop it..

i don't get piston slap everyday either...if it was a noisey injector it would be a costant reoccuring noise...piston slap goes away quickly
