Transmission Filter Help...4l70e Gmt900 Vmax

I've searched and searched...all the ones I've found say 4L60/65 but I cannot find any for the 4L70... Any VMax owners want to help me out with a part number or place to pick one up??

Since the 4L60E,4L65E & the 4L70E are the same basic tranmission the filter is the same.

I can understand that...but why wouldnt it list the 70 as compatible, like listing them "60/65"...

Also...they're showing 2 for the 4L60... one "standard" and one for "deep pan"....I'm assuming its the standard one, since its only 5qts??

They are cheap.....buy them both and return the one that is incorrect.

You will have a deep pan.

 

The deep pan will have a step in the bottom. The shallow pan has a flat botton.

I have not seen a shallow pan on a full size truck after 1998, but then I haven't seen them all. I'm sure there at least three out there some where..
