Dano07 Posted August 26, 2010 Posted August 26, 2010 I have a 2007 Chevy Silverado with a RC 2" leveling kit 2wd and 5.3L i was wondering if 285/70/17 will fit my truck with out rubbing.
sic lsx Posted August 26, 2010 Posted August 26, 2010 thats a 285/70r18 33.7"x11.2" almost 34" so i would think u would have to do some trimming! Most people do 285/65 32.5"x11.2" whoops i was thinking 18's 285/70r17s are 32.7"x11.2" so i would say yeah it will work fine http://www.discounttiredirect.com/direct/b...nfoTireMath.jsp

undercover_skank Posted September 5, 2010 Posted September 5, 2010 can you post some pics of the wheel turned all the way front and back? i want to see how close they are to rubbing
sab316 Posted September 6, 2010 Posted September 6, 2010 can you post some pics of the wheel turned all the way front and back? i want to see how close they are to rubbing If you have a leveling kit on you're truck then you will be fine to run 285/70/17's. I clear mine with plenty of room. You won't be able to make them rub. I'm only running a 2" RC kit on mine too.
