Rancho Lift Kit Questions

Recommended Posts

So i have looked at lift kits and I think I decided on Rancho 4 inch lift. Not sure what shocks to go with I know there is two different shocks adjustable and not adjustable. I was trying to get some feedback frome some of the guys who have installed that lift and what shocks they have? Also Where is a good place to buy the lift? Thanks for the help.

I've never had a problem with any RS5000s I've had, so thats what i went with. I do kinda wish i did the adjustable, just to be able to dial in the ride that I like. but i have nothing bad to say about the 5000s, they work great.

I bought mine online

I have the 9000's with adjustable settings. I love them. I havent messed with them too much but just at the middle setting the ride is great. I am going up to Silver Lake Sand Dunes in Michigan this weekend, hoping to play with them a little more and see what settings i like.

I'd personally go with the adjustable shocks and splurge for the in-cab control... but im a tech geek.

But at least with the adjustable shocks you can set the ride to your personal preference... some people like a more firm ride and others like a softer ride. Since "better" is a matter of personal preference, it'd be great to adjust the ride and not be stuck with just one setting that was developed to please the masses.

yeah, looking back I wish I would've gone with the adjustable ones...so anyone thinking about getting this setup, definitely consider the extra coin for the 9000s... I'll trade ya :D
